Welcome to my 1000 crane project. I dedicate this project and blog to anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer, their families and caregivers, and their doctors. An ancient Japanese legands says that if a person folds 1000 origami cranes - then they will be granted a wish. My wish for recovery goes out to each and every person who is fighting a battle with melanoma.

If you would like to dedicate a crane to someone - let me know with a comment or email. Send me the person's name. You can also include a photo, quote, or any other info you would like included in the dedication.
